Web design for plumbers

Websites for plumbers that get the call when the boiler goes

When there's a leak or the boiler's dead, people search on a phone, pick the plumber who looks most sorted and ring. I build plumbers' sites around that moment: your number one tap away, the jobs you actually do, and the towns you cover written out so Google can match you.

The work

See it on a plumber's site

I haven't built for a real plumber yet, so I built one. Brassline Plumbing is made up, but it's a complete site. Send the quote form, photo and all, to see what the plumber and the customer would each get.

The Brassline Plumbing concept site on a laptop and a phone

Concept site · made-up plumber

Brassline Plumbing

A one-page site for a plumber who prices from a photo. The quote form takes the job, the photos, the postcode and a phone number, then shows exactly what the plumber and the customer would each receive.

What a plumber's website needs

  • A number you can tap

On every page, at the top, on a phone. Most emergency calls come from a phone, often from someone stood next to the leak.

  • Each job on its own page or section

Boilers, bathrooms, servicing, leaks and emergencies, each written out, so a customer, and Google, can match you to the job they need.

  • Every town you cover

Written out, not just "South Wales". That's how Google matches you to a search in Penarth or Caerphilly.

  • Your Gas Safe registration, shown properly

If you're registered, say so plainly and link to your entry, so a homeowner can check it in one tap. If you're not, the site says what you do and doesn't claim what you don't.

  • A quote form that takes photos

A photo of the leak or the boiler saves a wasted visit, and tells you whether it is a ten-minute job or a day.

  • A Google listing that matches

Same name, number and towns as the site, and a website link that actually works.

Paying for it

Fixed price, or pay monthly?

A lot of trade websites are sold as a monthly plan. Mine are a one-off build that you own. Here's the honest difference, so you can choose with your eyes open.

A pay-monthly plan

  • Spreads the cost, which can suit a business just starting out
  • Check who owns the site, and the domain, if you ever leave
  • Check what a change costs, and whether the price is fixed in writing
  • Work out the total over a few years, not just the first month

A one-off build with me

  • From £750, fixed before any work starts, no VAT added
  • Yours after final payment: the site, the files and the domain
  • Care plans are optional, from £35 a month, and you can cancel with 30 days' notice
  • No compulsory monthly rental, ever

Hosting and third-party costs are confirmed separately, before you agree to anything.

  • £195, one off

    Local Search Audit

Already have a site? Where you rank on Google, who is beating you, and the ordered list of what to fix first. Credited in full against a build if you go ahead within 30 days.

Yes, once the final payment is made. If you ever leave, I transfer everything to you within two weeks.
