Web design for dog groomers

Websites for dog groomers

Dog owners choose a groomer the way they choose a childminder: photos of happy dogs, clear prices, and a feeling that you know what you're doing. I build groomers' sites around that: your services and prices laid out plainly, your own photos, and an easy way to ask for a slot.

The work

I haven't built for a dog groomer yet. Here's the process on two real sites.

There's no grooming site to show you, and I won't pretend otherwise. What I can show you is how the build goes: a flooring business whose site I rebuilt, and a landscaping business that had no site at all. The process for a grooming salon is the same.

What a dog groomer's website needs

  • Services and prices, clearly

Full groom, bath and brush, puppy introduction, nails: each with a price or a price by size. Owners want to know what it costs before they ring, and a clear list saves you the same questions ten times a day.

  • Your own photos

Dogs you have actually groomed, before and after. No stock photos. This is the page owners spend longest on.

  • A booking or enquiry form

Breed, size, what they want and when, so you can reply with a slot that suits you both, from your phone.

  • Where you are and how to get there

The address with one tap for directions, parking, and opening hours. Or the areas you cover, if you are mobile.

  • The things owners worry about

Nervous dogs, first grooms, matted coats, what happens if a dog gets stressed. Answering these plainly is what wins the booking.

  • A Google listing that matches

Same name, number and address as the site, and a website link that actually works.

Paying for it

Fixed price, or pay monthly?

A lot of small business websites are sold as a monthly plan. Mine are a one-off build that you own. Here's the honest difference, so you can choose with your eyes open.

A pay-monthly plan

  • Spreads the cost, which can suit a business just starting out
  • Check who owns the site, and the domain, if you ever leave
  • Check what a change costs, and whether the price is fixed in writing
  • Work out the total over a few years, not just the first month

A one-off build with me

  • From £750, fixed before any work starts, no VAT added
  • Yours after final payment: the site, the files and the domain
  • Care plans are optional, from £35 a month, and you can cancel with 30 days' notice
  • No compulsory monthly rental, ever

Hosting and third-party costs are confirmed separately, before you agree to anything.

    Review Requests

After each groom, the owner gets one polite email with your Google review link, and one reminder five days later.

  • £195, one off

    Local Search Audit

Already have a site? Where you rank on Google, who is beating you, and the ordered list of what to fix first. Credited in full against a build if you go ahead within 30 days.
