Web design for roofers

Websites for roofers that get the phone ringing when it rains

When a roof starts leaking, people search, pick the first roofer who looks trustworthy and ring. I build roofing sites around that moment: your number one tap away, the jobs you actually do, and the towns you cover written out so Google can match you.

The work

See it on a roofing site

I haven't built for a real roofer yet, so I built one. Coldbrook Roofing is made up, but it's a complete site. Tap the house drawing to see how it handles a leak.

Coldbrook Roofing

A one-page site for a roofer, built around a drawing of a terraced house. Tap where the trouble is to see what it usually turns out to be, how it is fixed and an example price, then start a quote on that job.

What a roofer's website needs

  • A leak number you can tap

On every page, at the top, on a phone. Most leak calls come from a phone, often from someone standing under the drip.

  • Every town you cover

Written out, not just "South Wales". That's how Google matches you to a search in Barry or Penarth.

  • Your own roofs

Before and after photos of real jobs. Homeowners want to see slates, not stock photos.

  • A quote form that takes photos

People can photograph the stain on the ceiling. It saves you a wasted visit.

  • A Google listing that matches

Same name, number and towns as the site, so neither one makes the other look wrong.

Research

What I keep finding on roofers' websites

I've been going through South Wales trade websites by hand, roofers included. These are real things I found. I've left the names out.

  1. Someone else's name on the tab

One roofer's browser tab and Google description showed a different company's name. People saw the wrong business before they'd even clicked.

  2. Two different review counts

The website showed one number of reviews and the Google listing showed a much smaller one. Someone comparing the two doesn't know which to believe.

  3. No town anywhere on the homepage

Good reviews, a decent site, and not one town named. Google has nothing to match to "roofer near me".

  4. A website that had gone

The web address on one roofer's Google listing had expired and was up for sale. Every tap on "Website" went nowhere.

Found while researching South Wales trade businesses in October 2026.

Questions roofers ask

Do you only work with roofers in Cardiff?

Not just Cardiff. I work with businesses across the UK, mostly by email. If you're local and would rather meet in person, I'm happy to.

Is Coldbrook Roofing a real business?

No. It's a concept I built to show how I'd do a roofing site. There are no real reviews, jobs or customers on it.

How much does a roofing website cost?

Websites start from £750, with a fixed price agreed before any work starts. Full pricing is on the pricing page. See pricing

Can you sort my Google listing as well?

Yes. Start with the £195 Local Search Audit, one off, no VAT added: where you rank on Google, who is beating you, and the ordered list of what to fix first. It is credited in full against a website build, the £395 Local Search Setup or the first month of Local Visibility if you go ahead within 30 days. See the audit
